Alaska Airlines
Mobile App Redesign
Led a complete reimagining of Alaska Airlines’ mobile experience, simplifying travel, elevating loyalty, and empowering customers to self-serve. Focus areas were home screen, day-of-travel home screen, account, and loyalty. Oversaw and contributed to the design system build for consistency and scalability. Weekly design reviews drove collaboration, challenged ideas, and refined solutions beyond the surface, resulting in a more intuitive, traveler-first experience that strengthened the brand’s digital presence.

Day of Travel
The home screen surfaces everything a traveler needs on departure day. From boarding time to meals, lounge pass, luggage tracker, upgrade offers, partner deals, and destination tips. Designed for clarity and quick access, it reduces stress and enhances the travel experience from gate to arrival.
Driving Value
and Engagement
Personalized trip suggestions based on user behavior and preferences, and targeted partner card offer. Both are designed to appear contextually, adding value without disrupting the experience. This approach blends user delight with business goals, increasing both loyalty and conversion potential.
Loading and Sign In
The animated loading screen sets a polished tone while acting as a moment of delight that helps mask load time and create a smoother transition into the app while the sign in screen’s subtle background motion evokes the feeling of travel without distracting from the task, creating a welcoming experience for new and returning users alike.
